Crafted from durable high-quality materials, this lightweight 100g turnout rug from our affordable Epic Essential range provides dependable protection and comfort for horses and ponies with a broad build. Offering essential features without the added extras, it is perfect for wet and colder conditions when your horse needs a bit more insulation.

Alongside its high waterproof and breathability rating, this Epic Essential turnout rug includes a built-in waterproof membrane that enhances its resistance to heavy rain. This added membrane provides an extra layer of defence against the elements and helps ensure long-lasting performance in unpredictable weather.

The rug is designed for a secure and adjustable fit with twin chest buckles and quick clip fastenings, low cross surcingles and removable, adjustable leg straps for flexibility and ease of use.

For added comfort and coverage, the antibacterial and antistatic lining helps to keep your horse’s coat clean and smooth. Attachments for a detachable neck cover (sold separately) allow you to extend coverage as needed, while the extra large tail flap offers generous protection for horses with broader builds.

As part of our broad fit range, this turnout rug is purpose-built for heavyweight horses and ponies with larger frames, deeper barrels, powerful shoulders and thick necks. This item is true to size and we recommend opting for your horse's usual size.

If your current horse rug is a good fit in length from your horse's chest - hind, but you find the horse rug is tight at the chest area, try that same size in our horse rugs.

If you have sized up with your current horse rug to get more room in the chest and the overall length from chest-hind is too long, try the size down in our horse rugs.
